Your Opportunity

BDO Canada is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Managed Services Leader to help lead the next phase of growth for its Managed Services business. Working alongside the existing Managed Services leadership team, this role will be responsible for establishing and scaling BDO's enterprise managed services capabilities, enabling the firm to win, deliver, and grow complex enterprise client relationships.

This leader will combine business development, operational leadership, and client executive engagement to build a differentiated enterprise managed services practice. The role is accountable for leading enterprise pursuits, overseeing strategic client portfolios, developing scalable service offerings, maturing delivery capabilities, building high-performing teams, and driving profitable growth. Equally important, the successful candidate will help transform the practice from a transactional delivery organization into one focused on long-term client outcomes, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

BDO has built a successful and growing Managed Services business with a strong reputation for delivering technology and business application managed services to small and mid-market organizations. As part of the firm's long-term growth strategy, the practice is entering its next phase of evolution-expanding its enterprise capabilities, maturing its operating model, and scaling the business to meet increasing market demand.

Enterprise clients increasingly expect more than traditional support services. They are looking for strategic partners who can deliver measurable business outcomes through modern operating models, executive governance, automation, AI-enabled operations, continuous innovation, and integrated advisory capabilities. To remain competitive and differentiate in the market, BDO is evolving its Managed Services business beyond traditional service delivery toward intelligent, outcome-driven operations powered by automation, data, and Artificial Intelligence.

Meeting these expectations requires BDO to strengthen its enterprise delivery capabilities, develop scalable service offerings, mature its governance and operational excellence, and transform how services are delivered, managed, and continuously improved.

To support this evolution, BDO is seeking an experienced Enterprise Managed Services Leader who will complement the firm's existing Managed Services leadership by focusing on enterprise growth, operational maturity, and the future of AI-enabled managed services. This individual will play a critical leadership role in expanding BDO's enterprise market presence while helping transform the practice into a scalable, outcome-focused business capable of delivering intelligent operations at scale.

The successful candidate will help shape the future of the practice by:
  • Growing BDO's enterprise managed services business through strategic pursuits, executive client relationships, and long-term account development.
  • Building enterprise-grade service offerings, delivery models, governance frameworks, and quality standards that enable consistent, scalable delivery.
  • Driving the evolution of BDO's managed services business toward AI-enabled operations by embedding automation, observability, predictive analytics, AI, and continuous service optimization into service delivery.
  • Developing high-performing teams and leadership capabilities while fostering a culture focused on accountability, innovation, operational excellence, and client outcomes.
  • Strengthening collaboration across BDO's Advisory practice to deliver integrated business solutions and unlock new growth opportunities across service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Operating Model
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for BDO's Enterprise Managed Services business, aligning with the firm's long-term growth objectives.
  • Build and continuously evolve an enterprise-grade managed services operating model that supports scalable, profitable, and consistent delivery.
  • Develop differentiated managed service offerings that address evolving client needs while incorporating AI-enabled operations, automation, and continuous innovation.
  • Establish standardized delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, quality standards, and service management processes that enable growth at scale.
  • Drive operational maturity through continuous improvement, process optimization, tooling, and best practices.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to ensure BDO remains an innovative and differentiated managed services provider.
  • Partner with practice leadership to establish strategic priorities, investment plans, and business performance objectives.

Enterprise Client Leadership
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for BDO's strategic enterprise managed services clients, building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Provide executive oversight across the enterprise portfolio, ensuring delivery aligns with client business outcomes, contractual commitments, and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Lead executive governance, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and strategic planning sessions with clients.
  • Develop long-term account strategies that increase customer value, strengthen executive relationships, and expand BDO's footprint within enterprise organizations.
  • Transform customer engagements from transactional service delivery to strategic partnerships focused on measurable business outcomes and continuous value realization.
  • Act as an executive escalation point for complex delivery, commercial, and client relationship matters.

Business Development & Market Growth
  • Lead enterprise pursuits from qualification through contract execution, including solution strategy, commercial positioning, executive presentations, and proposal development.
  • Develop enterprise managed services offerings, commercial models, and value propositions that differentiate BDO in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with Partners and leaders across Advisory to identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and bring integrated BDO capabilities to market.
  • Build strategic relationships with alliance partners and technology vendors to strengthen BDO's enterprise managed services offerings.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and industry trends that inform service development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Contribute to annual business planning, growth strategies, forecasting, and pipeline development.

Delivery Excellence & Governance
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across the enterprise managed services portfolio through disciplined governance and operational oversight.
  • Establish performance management frameworks utilizing KPIs, SLAs, XLAs, operational metrics, customer health indicators, and financial performance measures.
  • Drive service quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, utilization, and operational efficiency across the enterprise portfolio.

Team & Capability Building
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and practitioners capable of supporting enterprise managed services clients.
  • Build leadership capability across delivery, customer success, solution architecture, service management, and operations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, operational excellence, and client-centricity.
  • Establish career development frameworks, mentoring programs, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and adoption of emerging technologies, AI, automation, and modern delivery practices.
  • Collaborate across BDO's Advisory practice to strengthen enterprise capabilities, share expertise, and develop integrated solutions for clients.
