Full Job Description
Job title: Enterprise Business Development Rep

Reports to: Manager, Payable Sales

Department: PlastiQ Sales

Location: Remote

Grade: 22

About the Role:

As an Enterprise Business Development Rep, you will be in a key sales position that will play an important part in the growth of Priority's payables division. You will be tasked with growing your own book of business across the Middle Market and Enterprise segments, sourcing new business from initial discovery through to deal closing. You will become a product expert and be able to communicate our competitive advantages in the market in a clear, concise and compelling manner.

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in commercial payables and lending.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis to track key metrics and KPIs.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, document sales activities, and forecast future sales.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and target potential middle market/large market clients across all industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Manage and develop relationships with strategic banking and industry partners.

Sales Growth and Revenue Generation:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective prospecting, negotiation, and closing of deals.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation.
  • Continuously monitor market dynamics and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Candidate Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of sales experience.
  • 3-5 years of Middle Market/Large Market experience.
  • 3-5 years of coverage in fintech and/or commercial banking.
  • Minimum BA/BS degree.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation range: $139,300 - $161,560
