DescriptionWe are seeking an Agile Developer/ Seasoned Software Integration Engineer with proven experience building, debugging, and maintaining Java and Python based integration services on AWS.
ClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
ExperienceBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Required skills:
- Systematic root cause analysis; can break down a problem into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly.
- Works effectively with the team (internal and cross domain); comfortable reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback.
- Takes end to end responsibility for integration components-from design through production support.
- Hands on software development focused on integration, or API centric products.
- Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS (including production monitoring) i.e. Lambda, OSS, Cloud Watch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB
Desired skills:
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross language codebases (Java 14 Python) under pressure (e.g., on call rotations)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming
