Compensation: $120-$130k /year
The Enterprise Account Executive, Benefits is responsible for acquiring new enterprise clients for Edenred’s Benefits solutions, with a primary focus on Commuter Benefits. This role will manage complex opportunities from prospecting through contract execution, build relationships with senior decision-makers and advisors, and develop solutions aligned with each organization’s business and employee needs.
As a key contributor to the continued growth of the enterprise Benefits business, this individual will also help strengthen the processes, messaging, tools, and market approach needed to consistently win complex opportunities.
Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities
Own the full enterprise sales cycle, including account planning, prospecting, discovery, solution development, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and contract execution.
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities through direct outreach, internal partnerships, broker and consultant relationships, industry events, and other channels.
Lead consultative discovery with executive buyers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business priorities, current programs, employee needs, operational requirements, and decision criteria.
Position Edenred’s Benefits solutions and service model against prospect needs, competitive alternatives, and internal solutions.
Navigate complex buying processes involving Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Technology, and executive leadership.
Effectively coordinate internal resources across Implementation, Operations, Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Account Management and Client Success to develop credible and differentiated solutions.
Lead responses to enterprise RFPs and other formal procurement processes.
Build strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and other strategic partners that influence enterprise Benefits decisions.
Maintain accurate opportunity data, next steps, pipeline coverage, and forecasts in the company’s Customer Relationship Management Software.
Leverage market feedback and deal experience to help improve enterprise sales processes, messaging, collateral, qualification standards, and go-to-market strategy.
Share insights and repeatable practices that improve the broader Benefits new business team’s effectiveness.
Consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and new-logo goals.
RequiredExperience, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to manage and close complex enterprise sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles.
Advanced consultative discovery, executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to translate prospect needs into clear business value and differentiated solutions.
Resourcefulness in creating structure, solving problems, and moving opportunities forward in an evolving organization.
Strong commercial acumen precise attention to detail, and the ability to uphold accountability in the sales process.
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
Disciplined and effective approach to pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and CRM data accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, & Sales Recording Software
Education and Experience:
Required:
A minimum of five years of B2B sales experience, including a minimum of two years of experience at the Enterprise level, managing complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities and extended sales cycles.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enterprise new-business sales goals.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Preferred:
Experience selling employee benefits, HR technology, financial services, SaaS, or another complex solution to enterprise organizations.
Established relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, or enterprise HR and Benefits leaders.
Experience contributing to the development or improvement of a growing sales function.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at times
Mustpossessthe physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operateoffice machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
