Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Position SummaryProvides guidance to prospective students through the entire enrollment process in the college. Meets with prospective students individually, collectively, in person, or online regarding admissions, registration, financial aid, testing, minimal advising, and students accounts. (i.e. - meets individually with students to provide in depth information; provides information concerning college programs, careers, salaries, job outlooks, courses, transfer credit, CLEP, life experience credit, transfer compact, joint admission, articulation agreements, payment plans, and financial aid; guides, directs, and assists students in planning to meet their educational objective; assists students in completing require forms/documentation).
Processes student enrollment documents for prospective students as needed in the following areas, admissions, registrations, financial aid, testing, advising and students accounts. Assist student who can be quick admits into "open door" programs.
Provides assistance to prospective international and veteran students (i.e. - provides information concerning international student requirements; assists foreign students with completion of admission applications/documentation; provides G.I. bill information to veterans; directs veteran students on tuition waiver.
Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee campaigns for newly admitted students from application completion to matriculation.
- Arrange meetings and events (in person or remote) for all newly admitted students
- Answer questions, handle issues, and provide detailed information to students on school requirements, processes, and policies
- Collect data to qualify candidates for programs, services, or courses
- Ensure applications are completed correctly, with the required supporting materials
- Enter, update, and review records
- Provide guidance and recommendations to current and prospective students
- Process enrollments and withdrawals
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Prepares, transmits, maintains, and responds to requests for student transcripts and other official documents
- Conducts information sessions
- Participates in school activities
- Checks source documents for accuracy
- Verifies and corrects data where necessary. Obtains additional information for incomplete documents
- Combines and rearranges data from source documents where required
- Enters data from source documents into prescribed databases
- Transcribes information into the required electronic format
- May scan documents into document management systems or databases
- Audits completed work for accuracy
- Stores source documents in designated locations for future reference
- Maintains accurate records of activities and tasks
- Responds to requests for information and access relevant files in providing information. Ensures reference documents are appropriately returned to storage for future reference
- Prints information when required
- Complies with all data integrity and security policies. Maintains the strictest confidentiality requirements
- Presence at recruitment activities required when necessary
- Provides other administrative assistance as required
Skills and knowledge- Ability and willingness to work successfully with students, advocates and college staff
- Has the ability to work and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Has the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities
- Possesses good communication skills: Oral, Written, and Interpersonal
- Demonstrates proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint email communications
- Firm understanding of Slate CRM or a comparable CRM
- Possesses prior experience with F-1/M-1 Visas
- Possesses good knowledge of college and program policies and procedures
- Participates in and successfully completes training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to assignments
- Demonstrates a positive, high-energy attitude
- Ability and willingness to take directions
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Compliance & Governance: Perform duties in strict compliance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regulations, NECHE accreditation criteria, and individual collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
Requirements:Qualifications- Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Required Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience in college admissions or related field.
- Core Competencies:
- Demonstrates excellence in written, verbal, and digital communication skills (ex: proficient in Microsoft Office, ZOOM, Slate or comparable CRM) including the ability to communicate information clearly and professionally to students, faculty, staff, administrators, union representatives, and community partners while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Demonstrates commitment to working in a culturally diverse, urban community college setting.
- Preferred Qualifications (optional): Bilingual. Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.
Compensation: $58, 979.00-$110,581.00, placement within the salary range is determined in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Starting salary is based on the candidate's education, relevant experience, and/or other contractually established placement criteria.
