Full Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Program Manager in our Broomfield, CO, Location.

To support our cutting-edge research, global footprint strategy, and business growth, we are seeking a team member to lead projects related to facilities and infrastructure systems. This role will coordinate and lead complex projects across multiple locations, supporting teams both locally and internationally, ensuring technology and product roadmap targets are met while maintaining a sustainable workflow pace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of detailed schedules, budgets, dashboards, resource plans, and work plans for technical deliverables across complex, multi-disciplinary hardware R&D and facilities engineering programs.
  • Drive on-time, in-scope and on-budget execution through detailed project planning, risk management, and proactive issue resolution under conditions of technical uncertainty.
  • Organize and coordinate work across multiple cross functional teams, including technical and operational teams, serving as the primary integration point.
  • Lead regular status meetings, project reviews, milestone reviews, and end-of-task retrospectives to monitor progress and support decision-making.
  • Ensure timely, clear communication of strategy, scope changes, risks, and progress to technical teams, partners, stakeholders, and leadership via reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate schedules or develop required technologies, including requirements definition and evaluation of new efforts.
  • Implement and continuously improve program management processes for tracking schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and change control.
  • Ensure programs align with organizational goals while maintaining safe, sustainable, and operationally effective execution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering drawings as well as test plans and results to ensure compliance, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing across global teams.
  • Support supply chain development and management to ensure business continuity and technological advancement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in milestone-driven technical program management, including coordination and delivery of R&D hardware, facilities, construction or site operations
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.


WE VALUE:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience delivering first-of-a-kind projects and products
  • Proven experience leading facilities projects, site expansions, construction or workplace transformation initiatives
  • Comfort applying project management practices to the ambiguity of R&D environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience managing technology-based projects through the full life cycle, including schedule, risk, and budget management
  • Strong familiarity with project management, development, and collaboration tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, MS365 suite, and Smartsheet
  • Experience using Waterfall, Lean, Agile, or Kanban methodologies and tailoring practices to achieve optimal results
  • Experience working in a complex engineering environment, promoting collaboration and fostering a strong teamwork mentality


$148,000 - $190,000 a year

Compensation & Benefits:

Incentive Eligible - Range posted is inclusive of bonus target

The pay range for this role is $148,000 - $190,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
