As a Wireless Systems Engineer, you will be part of the team developing and implementing algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Terrestrial Bluetooth® devices and satellites. You will be involved in all aspects of the modeling, system design and implementation of wireless communication and work with cross-functional groups of hardware-software engineers.
This is a full-time position with preference to be based in Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) but open to a remote work option (for senior/more experienced candidates).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2 years of directly relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of communication theory & signal processing-related algorithm design (such as channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction, etc.)
- Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols; such as 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth®/Bluetooth Low Energy.
- Expertise in developing signal processing and wireless communications systems (e.g., FSK/OFDM/MIMO, etc.) and hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization.
- Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation.
- Experience and knowledge on High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation systems.
- Experience on bring-up of real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and use of lab test equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to learn new technologies, network protocols and tools rapidly.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills is a must
- Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when specific highly-critical events dictate as needed
- Passion for creating state-of-the-art software systems
STRONGLY DESIRED- 5 - 10 years relevant experience
- Experience with multi-radio coexistence management.
- Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware and software control.
- Experience on low power algorithm design for power critical application.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITSSalary: $140K - $190K/year (commensurate with experience)
