The Ads Measurement team builds systems that enable advertisers on Netflix to quantify campaign outcomes. Leveraging a blend of Netflix innovations and both first-party and third-party solutions, we deliver ads that respect the viewing experience while driving impactful results for advertisers. Our tools empower advertisers to effectively measure and analyze these outcomes.

We are looking for a people manager to join us on this journey, to lead some exciting initiatives, and the talented engineers who work on realizing our ambitious vision.

As an Engineering Manager you will:

Skills & experience we’re seeking:

  • 10+ years of total experience with 3+ years of management experience in building and leading diverse software engineering teams. 

  • Deep expertise in building first-party measurement solutions like conversion lift, brand lift, geo lift, and incrementality and designing end-to-end experimentation frameworks that produce statistically rigorous, advertiser-grade results at scale.

  • Proven experience leading teams that built out causal inference and attribution systems.

  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and measurement APIs that surface lift and attribution results to internal teams and external advertisers, with a strong command of the tradeoffs between measurement precision, privacy constraints, and advertiser reporting needs.

  • A strong product mindset along with experience in delivering large complex projects collaborating with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders that are technology, operations or business focused.

  • General understanding of the advertising marketplace and landscape. 

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with demonstrated product sense and leadership in the working environment

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $436,000.00 - $710,000.00.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
