ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer, WMS to join our technology team. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, configuration, and support of the Manhattan Active WMS platform to optimize warehouse and distribution center operations.

Salary Range: $100k - $135k

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the Manhattan Active WMS platform
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, software architects, analysts, and warehouse operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations between Manhattan Active WMS and other enterprise systems (OMS, ERP, BOOMI, MHE, FTP, etc.)
  • Assist in system configuration, testing, and deployment of WMS enhancements and new features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and system performance bottlenecks
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs, configuration guides, and integration documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and third-party vendors
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and end-user training efforts
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices, scalability, and security standards


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan Associates WMS (Active WMS)
  • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Agile software development methodology.
  • Proficiency in MAWM Proactive, Velocity, Python, JSON, and API integrations
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution center operations (receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, inventory management)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Jasper Reports, MarkMagic PI, and SCI Reporting Tool
  • Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, DevOps, and other collaboration tools
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform, Pub/Sub, and related Google utilities
  • Manhattan Associates certification(s) is a plus
  • Experience in the retail, footwear, or apparel industry
