Are you ready to drive change and operational excellence within a dynamic plant environment in El Paso, TX?

As a Fabrication Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, you will lead fabrication engineering operations and continuous improvement initiatives to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance across the fabrication facility. You will provide technical and people leadership while ensuring fabrication processes, systems, equipment, and resources support business objectives and operational excellence. This role is responsible for optimizing fabrication operations including laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, forming, and other metal fabrication processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive fabrication performance by monitoring and improving key operational metrics, including OEE, throughput, cycle time, productivity, scrap, rework, and lead time.
  • Champion the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance fabrication efficiency and operational performance.
  • Develop and execute productivity improvement plans that deliver measurable gains in cost, quality, safety, and delivery performance.
  • Lead fabrication process design, optimization, and continuous improvement activities, including workflow analysis, ergonomics, line balancing, material flow, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure fabrication capacity is aligned with business requirements through effective capacity planning, workforce planning, and utilization of capacity management tools.
  • Conduct process simulations, workflow studies, and queue analyses to improve fabrication flow, reduce bottlenecks, optimize lead times, and maximize equipment utilization.
  • Establish and maintain standard work and operating times using industrial engineering methodologies such as MTM, work measurement, time studies, and video analysis.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement capital investments, fabrication equipment upgrades, automation solutions, and process improvements that support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead major fabrication, industrialization, automation, and productivity projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and business objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Product Engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, efficient fabrication flow, and successful project implementation.
  • Provide fabrication engineering expertise during new product introductions, equipment expansions, layout modifications, and production volume changes to optimize operational performance and costs.
  • Develop and maintain process standards for fabrication operations including laser cutting, turret punching, press brake bending, welding, and related processes.
  • Serve as the fabrication engineering subject matter expert in process design, ergonomics, capacity planning, simulation modeling, cost analysis, automation, tooling, and operational performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
