Job Description

  • Direct and manage a portfolio of automotive engineering engagements, ensuring successful delivery across domains including body systems, chassis, interiors, propulsion, electrification, electronics, infotainment, vehicle integration, and performance engineering.
  • Lead and mentor Engagement Managers and delivery teams, fostering a high-performance culture while supporting talent development, capability building, and succession planning.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior customer stakeholders, aligning delivery strategies with business objectives and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Oversee portfolio financial performance, including profitability, resource utilization, staffing optimization, and alignment with global delivery centers to drive operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate executive-level business reviews, communicating delivery performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving continuous service excellence.
  • Support the transition of client engagements toward Managed Services and outcome-based delivery models, helping deliver greater scalability, efficiency, and business value.
  • Contribute to account growth by shaping value-driven solutions, supporting complex proposals, reviewing commercial opportunities, and tailoring offerings to meet client-specific requirements.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering delivery programs and managing complex project portfolios within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive and mechanical engineering domains, including body systems, chassis, interiors, propulsion, electrification, electronics, infotainment, vehicle integration, and vehicle performance.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted client relationships and influencing executive-level stakeholders in complex business environments.
  • Experience leading delivery model transformations, including transitions from Time & Materials engagements to Managed Services and Fixed Price delivery models.
  • Strong project and program management expertise with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes while managing risk, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural, globally distributed teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and talent growth.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing portfolio profitability, resource optimization, proposal reviews, and business performance metrics.


The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $103,879 - $242,400/year

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
