Full Job Description
McKinstry Energy Account Executive

We are adding an Account Executiveto our growing Energy division inPhoenix, AZ.At McKinstry,our mission is to make every building we touch more efficient.We areunsurpassedand nationally recognized as a premier provider of energy efficienttechnologies,creating high-performance buildings and innovating solutionsthat get the most for every energy dollar.

Responsibilities
  • Identify outcome-based solutions and lead government clients to contract closure.
  • Develop consultative relationships with potential and existing clients at every level of their organization.
  • Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying project opportunities, successfully manage a sales pipeline and meet sales goals.
  • Perform responsibilities such as lead generation, client satisfaction, proposal development, and client acquisition.
  • Apply strong business acumen and analytical thinking to effectively assess opportunities, weighing potential risks against rewards to make informed qualification or disqualification decisions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions using site/customer insights to shape strategy and pursue opportunities with successful selection through procurement channels.
  • Utilize McKinstry's tools and processes to support our customer relationship strategies.


Required Education, Knowledge and Abilities
  • At least three (3) years experience in energy savings performance contracting with responsibilities for identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to an Operations team preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required.
  • Knowledge of energy performance contracting, building infrastructure systems, facility management, and energy efficiency preferred.
  • Participation in professional associations preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within your state required. Personal transportation for meetings and job visits is reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $100,900 - $136,600 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
