Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Endpoint Security Engineer with deep expertise in CrowdStrike and/or Tanium to support enterprise security initiatives. This role will focus on the engineering, deployment, automation, and optimization of endpoint security tools across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical, understands the backend architecture of security platforms, and can integrate endpoint tooling into broader security operations capabilities including SIEM, SOAR, and cloud-native security solutions. This is an engineering-focused position rather than an operations or network security role. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience automating security platforms, and a deep understanding of how endpoint security tools function at scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Engineer, deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security platforms, with a focus on CrowdStrike and/or Tanium.
• Develop and automate security workflows to improve operational efficiency and threat response capabilities.
• Design and implement endpoint security solutions within AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Integrate endpoint security tooling with enterprise security platforms, including SIEM and SOAR solutions.
• Support ingestion and management of security telemetry and endpoint data to security monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with security operations teams to ensure endpoint tools are effectively supporting detection and response initiatives.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to endpoint security technologies and integrations.
• Assist with security tool enhancement projects and strategic initiatives across the security organization.
• Partner with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to improve visibility, compliance, and security posture.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, or security platform engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with CrowdStrike and/or Tanium administration, configuration, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies.
• Experience deploying and managing security tools within AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience developing automation for security tooling and operational processes.
• Understanding of SIEM and SOAR concepts and integrations.
• Experience working with security monitoring platforms such as Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of backend security architectures, integrations, APIs, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting security tool implementation, upgrades, and optimization efforts.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, including PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
