Employee Success Business PartnerWhat we are looking for:Aldridge is seeking an Employee Success Business Partner to join our dynamic and energetic Talent Management team!
Serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders, the Employee Success Business Partner (ESBP) aligns people strategies with business goals. Supporting a dedicated branch of the company, the ESBP is the primary point of contact regarding Onboarding (union and corporate), Employment Compliance, Benefits and Wellness, People Operations and Engagement. The ESBP engages closely with cross functional stakeholders, managers and team members to build a collaborative and productive culture.
What you'll do:- Develop relationships and partnership with aligned Business Unit Management
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, culture and values to support team development, growth and engagement
- Manage the processing of union and non union hiring (HRIS data entry, Onboarding Plans, etc)
- Design and facilitate New Hire Orientation and Aldridge 101; oversee field onboarding
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws, including I-9 (E-Verify), background and drug screen, H-1B Visa, etc.
- Manage employee benefit programs and enrollments (annual and adhoc), including group health, vision, dental, life, accident, disability and 401K
- Lead and collaborate on people-focused projects including wellness, outreach, and ethical programs; engage in regular sponsorship with leaders
- Consult on unique team member needs surrounding relocation and travel agreements
- Educate and initiate FMLA and LOA processing, ensuring a compliant and seamless experience
- Conduct exit interviews, prepare termination packages and process and facilitate terminations
- Assist payroll with employment verification requests, PTO payouts, etc
- Conduct regularly scheduled employee check ins and identify trends and people related needs; propose and implement strategies and programs to improve talent position
- Advise on team structure, workforce transitions, and talent decisions
- Foster change management focused on Business unit performance and engagement; conduct pulse surveys; guide leaders in action planning post bi-annual engagement survey
- Manage Tier One Employee Relations cases including investigations, documentation and escalation
- Sponsor Recognition strategies and the Applaud system to shape a positive and high performance culture
- Run ad hoc and quarterly reports and metrics and provide data driven guidance on opportunities and challenges
- Advocate the Aldridge Way and a representative of the Aldridge Core Values through every day interactions
Who you are:- 5+ years of experience in a People Partner or HR Business Partner position
- Bachelor's Degree in HR preferred, other degrees considered, with functional HR experience
- Working knowledge of HR practices and the laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees in the United States, including union workforce
- Proven ability to connect with and influence business leaders, stakeholders and team members
- Current understanding of benefit plans including health, financial and wellness
- Commitment to a high level of confidentiality and integrity
- Experience communicating professionally and timely with all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, with an innovative spirit
- Desire for continuous learning and development
- Travel on occasion to support job sites and company events
- Professional HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Suite, a plus
What we offer:The annual base pay for this role is between $90,000.00 - 125,000.00. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
