Summary:The Opportunity Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Employee Relations Manager to join our Corporate Human Resources team. This role plays a critical role in fostering a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace by providing guidance and support on complex employee relations matters. In this role, you will partner with Corporate HR Business Partners, leaders, managers, Legal, and other stakeholders to address workplace concerns, conduct effective investigations, and promote consistent application of policies and practices. The position will also coach managers through performance management and improvement processes, identify employee relations trends, and contribute to special projects and initiatives that support Corporate Human Resources priorities. The Role Employee Relations Manager key responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up, thorough documentation, and appropriate closure.
- Conduct workplace investigations and address performance concerns, workplace conduct, conflict, attendance, policy interpretation, organizational change, and other employee relations issues.
- Advise and coach managers on performance management, including feedback, documentation, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
- Guide managers through employee separations and other employment actions, including documentation, process, communications, and risk considerations.
- Develop and deliver practical guidance, resources, and training on employee relations, workplace conduct, and performance management.
- Identify workplace trends and use employee relations data and exit interview insights to recommend ways to strengthen engagement and reduce risk.
- Lead or contribute to special projects that support employee relations and organizational priorities.
Qualifications: Experience Required • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, HR Business Partnership, or related field
• Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
• Deep knowledge of performance management, manager coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
• Experience advising leaders and managers on workplace conduct, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employment practices.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR Centers of Excellence, and other stakeholders on sensitive matters.
• Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with HR information systems and employee relations case management systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze employee relations data and use trends to inform recommendations and solutions.
Experience Preferred: • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Human Resources, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, is a plus

The salary range for this position is $98,600 - $127,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
