Stamford Health is hiring a Fulltime Employee Health RN for the Employee Health Center!
This position is 37.5-hours per week Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, NO WEEKENDS or HOLIDAYS!

Responsibilities:
The position of RN in Employee Health primarily addresses the health, medical surveillance, episodic illness and work-related injuries of the Stamford Health System employee. The position interacts clinically with the physician assistant and office assistant, supervising physician, departmental managers, clinical departments, staff physicians and Human Resource personnel.
- Performs primary patient interventions as follows:
- Initial patient interviewing
- Vital signs, patient preparation for physicals, workers’ compensation
- Provide minor episodic care treatment
- Patient education/counseling
- Suture removal/wound checks/redressing
- Cultures
- Vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, respiration, height, weight)
- Injections/vaccinations
- Urine drug test collection with chain of custody
- Phlebotomy
- PPD testing and interpretation
- Special services i.e., ergonomic assessments, and other as directed by PA
- Mask fit testing
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
BSN strongly preferred.
BLS certification required
3-5 years of recent experience in Occupational Health
