Embedded Network Systems Engineer for Global Semiconductor company in San Jose, CA.
Summary:
A Global Semiconductor company is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer with good networking experience to support their Wireless LAN division in San Jose.
Responsibilities:
Support the Wireless LAN division
Work on C programming
Work with mostly firmware
Requirements:
1-5 years of overall experience (junior to mid-level)
Excellent programming skills in C, good Python
Experience with Board Bring up, Firmware development and Kernel highly desired.
Must be familiar with various device drivers.
Operating Systems knowledge (Linux preferred)
L2-4 Protocol and Networking knowledge.
Excellent debugging skills
Attentive learner and able to grasp new concepts quickly.
Desired skillsets:
Wi-Fi (802.11 protocol) experience
Experience with low level and hardware embedded systems
Type: Fulltime - will consider candidates who require Visa transfer
Location: San Jose, CA (100% onsite)
Salary Range: 130-180K (DOE)
