Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering preferred.
• 2-3 years of C/C++ coding experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Competence in reading and modifying legacy code independently.
• Familiarity with specific microcontrollers and software tools, including Microchip dsPic30F, Freescale MPC5668G, Codewarrior, MPLAB, and Quartus II.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision.
• Authorization to work in the USA without future Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life cycle development, including new design and enhancements to existing software.
• Design technical system architecture and software components.
• Develop drivers for communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Write firmware in VHDL as part of the development process.
• Collaborate within a team environment to influence end product outcomes.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
