Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years related work experience required.
• Proficiency with computers for parts searching and CMMS entry.
• Strong understanding of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Capability to perform manual tasks like standing, lifting (50 lbs), and bending.

Responsibilities

• Design and test minor electrical circuits for machine control.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems effectively.
• Install electrical controls by interpreting blueprints.
• Conduct basic mechanical repairs as needed.
• Dismantle and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts.
• Install and monitor performance of electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Direct the tasks of lower classification workers when required.
