Electrical Site InspectorFull Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel throughout Western Canada, to visually inspect electrical building systems in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional buildings industry.
- Analyze, diagnose, commission, and provide recommendations for electrical equipment.
- Service/maintain/repair lighting systems.
- Read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs.
- Conduct and attend site visits including but not limited to site verifications, inspections, and meetings.
- Apply and adhere to national and provincial building codes across Canada.
- Provides technical support as requested.
- The ability to complete paperwork accurately in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and must have a vehicle.
- 309A license with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- A valid 442A license is considered an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and their operations.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as the Canadian Electrical Code, the Canadian National Building Code (NBC), etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and detail oriented and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to be flexible with regards to work location and work schedule is a must, including the ability to travel away from home.

- Compensation Range: $90,000 - $120,000 /per annum
This compensation represents INVIRO's current anticipated range for this position. Actual compensation offered may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills.
