Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and forecasting reports
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents and provide technical guidance as needed
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives
  • Conduct jobsite visits to verify safety compliance, quality standards, and project performance
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including change orders, billing, RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials
  • Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future work
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes and regulations


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
  • Proven experience managing commercial and industrial electrical construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, codes, and industry standards
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
