Position Title: Electrical Engineer

Department: Engineering

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and field service, ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of Swerve Techs products. This role requires significant travel and close collaboration with customers, vendors, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Service and Technical Support:

- Provide field service at customer sites within the designated territory and throughout other parts of the United States.

- Deliver onsite technical training to customers on the operation, repair, and maintenance of Sweve Tech products.

2. Preventive Maintenance:

- Carry out preventive maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime, ensuring alignment with customer production schedules and equipment specifications.

3. Customer Interaction and Support:

- Respond promptly to inquiries from internal and external customers, offering timely technical solutions.

- Internal customers include Sweve Tech LTD's teams, staff, vendors, subsidiary companies, and branches. External customers include any Sweve Tech LTD client.

4. Collaboration and Departmental Representation:

- Represent the Engineering department in inter-departmental meetings.

- Work closely with other engineering teams and technicians at customer and vendor sites.

- Collaborate with the Sales team and customers to ensure alignment with project goals and customer needs.

5. Project Oversight and Engineering Tasks:

- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.

- Perform independent engineering tasks, ensuring high-quality output and compliance with project objectives.

6. Travel Requirements:

- Undertake regular travel to outside labs, customer sites, vendor facilities, and supplier locations as needed.

- Domestic and international travel may be required, with up to 20% travel, including visits to multiple locations to support project development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience in a similar role with hands-on field service work.

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed technical reports.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Minimum Requirements

The Electrical Engineer shall meet the following minimum requirements:
  • This is a remote position. Local candidates will be given the option to work in the office, remote or hybrid.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proficient in REVIT

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in providing technical training and customer support.

- Familiarity with preventative maintenance processes in industrial settings.

- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
