Drive avionics system integration and subsystem verification activities, ensuring compliance with safety and aircraft certification requirements.
Plan and support qualification testing, including test setup, equipment checkout, and coordination with local Southern California test labs.
Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (e.g., Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), Perception, Systems, Software, and Flight Test) to define interfaces, ensure robust system designs, and integrate avionics components seamlessly.
Lead or present at design reviews, providing technical insight and feedback on system integration, safety, and performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in electronics design, testing, or system integration in aerospace or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience taking PCBA designs from schematic through layout, bring-up, and validation.
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to travel within the Southern California area as required for testing and system integration.
