The Opportunity:As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to advancing technological status for weapon and combat systems. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to research, develop, procure, fabricate, and test new and novel targets for Directed Energy solutions.

That's why we need an electrical engineer like you who specializes in hardware to help us research, design, procure, and develop targets and target sets for test and evaluation purposes. On our team, you'll aid in determining target effects for development of a performance specification for future system development. You'll impact the DoD by advancing future state-of-the-art personnel and shipboard defense capabilities. This is a chance to use your electrical and electronics engineering skills while gaining experience in Directed Energy, test and evaluation, and basic and applied research. You Have: - 3+ years of experience in the design, development, testing, and evaluation of a wide variety of RF sensors or antennas
- 3+ years of experience conducting basic and applied research on commercial and non-commercial electronic and electrical systems, subsystems, or components
- Experience in microwave signal generation and test equipment
- Experience with digital signal processing
- Experience in all aspects of laboratory and field testing, including setting test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing results
- Experience with land, sea, and air vehicles
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Nice If You Have: - Experience researching, designing, or procuring land, sea, or air targets and conducting test and evaluation activities with them
- Experience supporting the Navy or other Armed Forces engineering support contracts
- Knowledge of high-power microwave and high-power radio frequencies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
