Position Overview:CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an
Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in consulting engineering. The position is responsible for designing the Electrical and Information and Communications Technology Systems, including power distribution, back-up power systems, lighting and lighting controls, renewable energy and battery storage systems, data networks, nurse call, audio visual systems, DAS, electronic safety & security systems, and more all for the purpose of bidding and construction for various projects. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Interacting with owners, clients, architects, and contractors as needed with verbal and written communication
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks
- Confer with other engineers and other personnel to complete project deadlines
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles and research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements
- Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements
- Research and analyze clients design requirements, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
- Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents
Desired Experience and Qualifications:- 5+ years experience with MEP design with a focus on technology systems
- FE registration is preferred with potential for PE
- RCDD is a plus
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
