The Opportunity

As a Senior Dry Type Transformer Engineer, you will lead the design and optimization of both standard and complex transformer solutions, translating customer requirements into innovative, manufacturable products that deliver exceptional performance and reliability.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience designing dry type transformers.
  • Strong understanding of transformer design principles and engineering documentation practices.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional and customer-focused environments.
  • Proficiency with engineering and business tools such as AutoCAD, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and related applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%) and authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with VSD, low-voltage, rectifier-duty, and/or traction transformers.
  • Knowledge of FMEA methodologies, value engineering, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, CSA, IEC, and NEC standards.
  • Experience working with multinational engineering teams.
  • Exposure to electrical or mechanical simulation tools.
