• Quality & Yield: Monitor production metrics, lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, and drive yield improvements.
• Nonconformance Management: Disposition nonconforming material and support Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
• Supplier Support: Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers on process capability, first article inspections (AS9102), and quality issues.
• Change Implementation: Implement engineering change orders on the production floor and ensure configuration control of production builds.
• Process Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce cost, cycle time, and rework.
• Mentorship: Mentor engineers and technicians in manufacturing engineering and electrical workmanship best practices.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing or production engineering in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries.
