Full Job Description
You will be the Electrical Harness Engineer for the Aeronautics Electrical Engineering Team which is responsible for delivering advanced electrical harness solutions that power cutting-edge aeronautics platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Electrical Harness Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the electrical architecture that enables mission-critical aircraft systems.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Produce detailed electrical wiring schematic drawings and develop complex power distribution systems.
  • Partner with subsystem engineers to define electrical loads, wiring requirements, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage supplier relationships, author statements of work, and coordinate system check-outs.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, resolve build-up issues, and guarantee flawless execution.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
• Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting
• Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements

Desired Skills
• Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
• Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
• Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis.
• Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
• Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance
• 2 years of professional experience; or no experience with a related Masters degree

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
