Join us in designing innovative equipment for the glass industry that creates a lasting impact. Our electrical engineers oversee every phase of control system design and programming. This project-based position is technically challenging and dynamic, with some travel involved.

Essential Functions:

Design Equipment to meet specifications and needs of customer.

  • Participate in project teams to analyze design proposals, specifications and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of design or specifications.
  • Research and evaluate electrical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements.
  • Use software to write programs that operate machines.


Oversee and Support Equipment Production.

  • Observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose the cause(s) and make recommendations and/or correct deficiencies.
  • Serve as point of contact and provide technical direction to ensure equipment is installed and functioning according to specifications.


Continuously work to improve equipment.

  • Collect and review equipment data to determine operating efficiency.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate equipment or system malfunctions.
  • Evaluate alternate designs and processing methods for feasibility, operating effects and necessity of modification.
