RMF Engineering, Inc is seeking is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in our Boston, Massachusetts office. Salary range, $100,000-$120,000 per year.
Responsibilities:- Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules
- Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls
- Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls
- Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop
- Performing field surveys and construction phase support
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:- 3 Years minimum design experience with electrical systems
- BS in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally will be required
- Minimum requirements include a BSEE and 5 years of related experience
- Professional registration or ability to obtain professional registration
- Experience with power system modeling and analysis using SKM is a major plus
- Experience in Autodesk Revit software.
Preferred Qualifications:- Higher Ed and Healthcare design experience
- Experience in power distribution and low-voltage systems
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices
- Strong teamwork, communications, and client relationship skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
