Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer (FPGA Firmware) to join our BBP team in Milpitas!
Responsibilities for this exciting role will include:Collaborate with the hardware and embedded software engineer to design FPGA Firmware for high-performance mixed-signal systems.
Define FPGA Firmware requirement specifications and develop design projects from concept design to production release.
Responsible for designing the test benches for simulation, timing analysis/closure, FPGA functionality verification and test scripts for validation.
Debug the whole system with hardware and software engineer together.
Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for manufacturing / service team as required.
Qualifications:Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with complex FPGA firmware designs
Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Synplify, ISE, Vivado, Quartus.
Familiar with FPGA simulation tools like VCS, Modelsim or equivalent.
Proficiency with Hardware description language such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog.
Understand FPGA timing analysis and be enable to solve timing related issues.
Hands on experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope etc.
Teammate with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) or work experience of 0 years , Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years
Base Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 Annually
