Description & RequirementsWe are seeking an
EHS Facilities Specialist to join our Environmental, Health & Safety team based in our
Chino, CA warehouse. This position will play an important role in developing, implementing, and enhancing safety programs across our non-restaurant facilities, including office, warehouse, and production environments.
*This position is full-time onsite
Reporting to the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, the EHS Facilities Specialist will partner with leaders throughout the Company to identify safety program gaps, develop solutions, support regulatory compliance, and help create safe working environments for our Associates. The ideal candidate brings strong technical safety expertise and demonstrated experience building and improving safety programs, conducting JHAs/JSAs, developing SOPs, and delivering safety and compliance training. This role requires the ability to translate regulatory requirements and safety data into practical, effective programs while influencing leaders and supporting a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
General Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and maintain required records and documentation.
- Support responses to state and federal OSHA matters, including on-site visits, complaints, and citations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs for Company facilities, including standards, guidelines, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Support emergency operations planning and serve as a facilities coordinator for non-restaurant properties.
- Conduct on-site risk evaluations, including ergonomic assessments, safety evaluations, and observations of safety compliance.
- Analyze safety trends and provide data and insights to leadership to support injury prevention and effective application of safety programs.
- Analyze incident and loss data and partner with management to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop targeted action plans for locations experiencing higher accident frequency.
- Conduct safety education, injury-prevention training, and workshops for Associates and leaders.
Work Schedule + Benefits - Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
- Pay Range is $76,306.40-$95,300.00 annualized salary.

- Hours: Standard hours Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. (could consider earlier start schedule, some flexibility on this)
- The position may occasionally require availability outside of regularly scheduled days and times, including nights and weekends.
- Some travel to Lancaster, TX and Lathrop, CA facilities and other DCs on occasion. Approximately 20-30% annually.

Requirements - Five plus (5+) years of experience in Safety and/or Risk Management required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required.
- Forklift and pallet jack certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal OSHA requirements and workplace safety regulations.
- Demonstrated experience building and improving safety programs, conducting JHAs/JSAs, developing written SOPs, and delivering safety and compliance training.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and influence leaders on safety programs and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to travel 20-50% and work independently across a variety of field environments.
