Full Job Description
We are looking for an Education Program Manager to support the Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology's education and community engagement initiatives by leading program operations, implementing strategic priorities, and ensuring measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Education Director, this role oversees key programs including the Integrative Oncology Fellowship, patient and community education, professional training, internships, educational events, and program evaluation. The position collaborates closely with clinical, research, administrative, marketing, and community partners to deliver scalable, coordinated programs aligned with Cherng Center and City of Hope goals. As a successful candidate, you will: • Partner with Center leadership to develop, implement, and oversee strategic education initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. • Lead day-to-day management of education programs, including operations, budgets, timelines, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement. • Direct the Integrative Oncology Fellowship and Internship Programs, managing curriculum development, rotations, assessments, milestone tracking, and scholarly activities. • Design, deliver, and evaluate education and training programs for physicians, nurses, APPs, trainees, and other healthcare professionals, collaborating with clinical and subject-matter experts. • Plan and execute educational events, grand rounds, conferences, and professional development activities, coordinating faculty, learner engagement, evaluations, and reporting. • Develop and expand evidence-based education resources for patients, caregivers, and community audiences, including digital content, print materials, and outreach initiatives. • Monitor program performance through participation metrics, outcomes, learner feedback, and data analysis, providing reports and recommendations for program enhancement. • Manage educational communications, contracts, and partnerships, coordinating with internal departments, external vendors, consultants, and community organizations to support program success. Your qualifications should include: • Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience managing education, training, healthcare, academic or community-facing programs, including program planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, outcome tracking, and process improvement. Experience working with Microsoft Suite, Redcaps, Excel, Qualtrics. Masters degree is preferred. o 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education. • Experience managing healthcare, academic, research, or professional education programs, including fellowship, trainee, continuing education, and community engagement initiatives. • Proven ability to develop operational processes, track program outcomes and metrics, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed program evaluation.
