The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $230,000 and $300,000 per year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Position Summary

Instinet is seeking an experienced, client-focused Senior Platform Sales individual to drive growth across the platform with institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and quantitative trading firms. This senior sales professional will be responsible for originating new business, deepening strategic client relationships, and expanding adoption of Instinet's suite of products.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of global markets, specifically U.S. equity markets, trading workflows, algorithmic execution, and institutional investment processes. This individual will partner closely across teams to deliver differentiated execution solutions that improve client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow execution revenues across products with existing and prospective institutional clients.
  • Build senior-level relationships with heads of trading, portfolio managers, quantitative investment teams, and electronic trading decision makers.
  • Work alongside the product team to communicate client feedback and influence the evolution of Instinet's platform.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of evolving market structure, regulatory developments, and competitive offerings to position Instinet effectively.
  • Partner with global colleagues to deliver coordinated coverage for multinational institutional clients.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of institutional equity sales, electronic trading sales, execution consulting, or related capital markets experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling execution products to institutional investors.
  • Existing relationships with buy-side trading desks, hedge funds, and quantitative investment firms.
  • Excellent consultative sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or ability to obtain).

* base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
