What do you get to do in this position?The Ecofit Engineering Senior Manager is a fundamental contributor to the U.S. Services Modernization and Custom Solutions business. This position is responsible for overseeing the engineering team delivering designs for our custom solutions, resolving day-to-day project issues, and promoting teamwork amongst internal and external customers. This leader is responsible to ensure solutions are designed to meet the highest level of safety and compliance with codes and standards. The successful candidate actively participates in the design, development and deployment of resources, tools, systems, and processes required to fulfill specific customer requirements.
Mission: As a people leader, the EcoFit Engineering Senior Manager is responsible for all aspects of talent management including performance reviews, salary planning, development plans, and resource planning/recruiting. They should be energized to lead engineering Supervisors and Managers to direct the day-to-day tactical and long-term strategic aspects to grow and execute the EcoFit Business. This role interfaces with internal and external customers to develop design and functional specifications, resolve engineering issues, and contribute to tool development and enhancements within the specific engineering discipline. This team directly supports production resources in the plant environment and customer facing Service Representatives, who install the solutions on customer sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage the implementation of all assigned projects completing in a timely manner with a commitment to quality, professionalism, timely responsiveness, and within the estimated hours as quoted.
- Work closely with the internal execution teams; EcoFit Operations, Procurement and Field Operations on improvements with the engineered solutions and deliverables for smoother field installation
- Responsible for performing high level engineering work and maintaining a utilization level in alignment with business targets.
- Clearly establish, communicate, and achieve the expected KPIs assigned for the engineering scope.
- Facilitate development and training of engineering personnel, including setting, and monitoring of individual goals.
- Assimilate, filter, and propagate new design/installation/service procedures and tools.
- Establish project design standards and conventions while facilitating improvements to quality.
- Ensure continuous learning and awareness of new products and releases of technology and applying the same to projects and processes applicable.
- Maintains an up-to-date thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Contribute to engineering and overall Services EcoFit group strategic planning.
- Assist sales and quotations personnel with project feasibility and cost estimates to develop and maintain our customer base through superior service and technical expertise.
- Operationalize new company processes, procedures, and tools.
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional License preferred, but not required.
- 10+ years relevant work experience required
- 5+ years of leadership experience required
- Experience in the Electrical Power Distribution Industry with LV/MV Switchboards, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Controls & Protection and MCC
- Knowledge of the applicable Codes & Standards (NFPA, UL, IEEE/ANSI) related to Electrical Equipment.

- Ability to travel 25% required with up to 60% if not located in Fairfield, OH or North Haven, CT.
