OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity at the Department of State! The Disaster Recovery (DR) Program Manager is responsible for the development, testing and maintenance of the enterprise DR/COOP plan and operations supporting the hybrid VPC and global IT infrastructure for the customer.
Responsibilities:
- You will ensure customer IT services remain operational and highly available to support U.S. embassies, consulates, passport agencies and centers, and visa processing centers (i.e., domestic).
- To meet this mission, you will help develop, manage, and support a robust, enterprise-wide DR program for the enterprise IT network to ensure continuous improvement, resiliency, and high availability services, aligning with redundancy requirements.
- The DR program shall comply with NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-34 (Contingency Planning Guide for Federal Information Systems), FISMA requirements, and customer DR standards.
- As the DR/Resiliency Engineer, you will play key roles in redundancy and failover management, DR Plan documentation and system alignment, and DR testing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The following are the education and experience required for this position:
- 10+ years
- Bachelor's in IT or related field
- CBCP or MBCI Certification(s)
- Secret Security Clearance
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- ITIL 4 Foundation, Comp TIA Sec + Certification(s)
