Responsibilities

  • Provide technical services supporting DOT's IT portfolio and investment management
  • Perform research on government and DOT IT policy
  • Track workflow progress and maintain meeting documentation
  • Perform document control and support IT data reporting
  • Assist with external and internal data request responses
  • Analyze IT Spend Plans and individual procurements
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and prepare meeting materials

What You Will Do:

  • Provide a broad range of technical services in support of DOT’s Information Technology (IT) portfolio, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and investment management processes and functions, to include:
    •    DOT-Wide IT Portfolio Management Support
    •    Budget Formulation Support
    •    Budget Execution Support
    •    Business Process Reengineering

  • You will also perform research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.

  • Track progress on workflows

  • Develop meeting minutes and track actions.

  • Perform document control

  • Support reporting of IT formulation and execution data

  • Be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.

  • You will help respond to external (OMB) and internal (leadership) data calls.

  • Assist in the various regular reporting; perform analysis on IT Spend Plan and individual procurements.

  • Develop and maintain dashboard; prepare meeting materials.

  • Support status reporting; assist maintenance of repository.


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".

  • Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience.

  • Work on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC.

  • Must be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.

  • Understanding of how to prioritize tasks.

  • Have background in financial management with the ability perform detailed analysis on IT budget formulation and execution data, attention to detail, work in a matrixed team.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with OMB IT portfolio management and CPIC data, processes, and reporting.


The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
