Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?Documentation & Project Management Specialist (Commercial Deposits and Cash Management)We are seeking an experienced Cash Management Documentation & Project Management Specialist to help manage commercial client expectations, while proactively voicing pain points during the onboarding process to RBC's U.S. Commercial Deposits and Cash Management Business. This role will work in close partnership with functional partners relating to the establishment and growth of a new Commercial Deposits and Cash Management business line. This role presents a unique opportunity to bring your skills and voice to a collaborative, dynamic, startup-like environment within a large, established financial institution, supporting key Business and client initiatives to help change and streamline the world of Cash Management as most know it today.
What will you do?- Provide timely reviews and guidance of client drafted legal documentation for use with Cash Management services.
- Provide clear written guidance when reviewing client legal documentation to ensure there is no uncertainty when there is client and bank interaction with the assistance of Law Group as necessary.
- Assist in the creation and amendment of procedures, policies and process flows as needed.
- Challenge the status quo in continue effort to streamline the Cash Management industry
- Support day to day documentation queries from internal stakeholders regarding new accounts, signer management and account updates.
- Participate in ongoing projects related to the development of the new U.S. business line to help ensure best in class service is delivered at first pass.
- Anticipate client pain points and proactively help put mitigations/remediation plans in place.
- Act as a liaison between Law Group, Front Office, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crimes Compliance, and other Functional Partners, helping align efforts toward common goals.
- Effectively interact with internal and external parties, ensuring proper escalation and relationship management to Law Group, Front Office and Functional Partners.
- Participate in meetings as necessary, taking notes and tracking significant items and tasks.
- Help manage projects and documentation related the business line, tracking product development, and evolving business initiatives.
- Participate as needed in working groups to review, analyze, and update marketing materials, client-facing documentation, and legal agreements related to commercial deposit accounts and Cash Management services, in each case as directed by Management and with escalation to other Functional Partners as required.
- Assist with contract negotiation requests, including the development of a negotiation response repository, under the direction of the Law Group.
- Demonstrate solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Support responses to customer RFPs pursued by the Front Office sales teams.
- Be client obsessed while maintaining RBC Clear's risk appetite.
What do you need to succeed?- Minimum 5+ years working in a bank, with a strong preference for direct experience within the Commercial Deposits and Cash Management Client Services space, or corporate banking operations, with a knowledge of deposit account and service maintenance and KYC/AML compliance and client legal documentation.
- Preferred 5+ years' experience working directly with risk, compliance, attorneys, project management/coordination, implementation, and legal documentation review/approval/guidance, as well as experience with contract negotiations.
- Strong preference for knowledge and experience with business governance, global customer authority documentation, client behaviors in the industry and global cash management product knowledge.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
