Job DescriptionOverviewAt the heart of our engineering projects, the Document Control team ensures the control, organization, and flow of critical project information. Through its expertise, the team provides access to reliable, up-to-date, and compliant documentation, enabling effective collaboration among all stakeholders and contributing to project success.
As part of our engineering projects, we are seeking an experienced Document Control Team Lead who can establish, maintain, and continuously improve complex document management systems.
Your role- Lead and support a Document Control team to ensure effective document management across projects, delivering consistent performance and value.
- Establish and maintain document management processes, procedures, and systems in accordance with company standards.
- Oversee project document control activities to ensure the effective use of document management systems and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training, mentoring, and guidance to project teams as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Ensure document management systems and procedures are properly implemented and consistently applied throughout projects.
- Support management in the selection, assessment, training, and development of qualified document control personnel.
- Drive the continuous improvement and evolution of document management tools, systems, processes, and procedures
About you- Extensive experience in document control within the EPCM industry, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in an intermediate or senior-level role.
- Experience working in project, engineering, or construction environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage document control systems, tools, processes, and procedures within the services, engineering, and construction sectors.
- Fluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.*
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Knowledge of Aconex and Autodesk Forma software.
*This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as the clients and/or suppliers you will interact with are primarily English-speaking and located outside Québec.
