Geographic TerritoryIn this role, you will primarily support the LCMS Missouri District, which encompasses the state of Missouri, with responsibility for building relationships and advancing LCEF's mission and strategic priorities throughout the district.
You must reside in the Greater St. Louis area at the time of employment and maintain a residence in the area throughout your employment. Due to the nature of this role and the regular business travel required, you must also live within reasonable proximity of and have reliable access to St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
What You'll DoAs District Vice President, you will:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned district by developing trusted relationships, assessing ministry and financial needs, and connecting ministry partners with LCEF's lending, investment, ministry, and real estate solutions.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with the District President, district executive staff, boards, committees, congregations, schools, and church workers to advance district ministry priorities and strengthen LCEF partnerships.
- Partner with district leadership to identify ministry opportunities, establish strategic priorities, and align LCEF resources with district goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the District President and district leadership in evaluating ministry opportunities, capital needs, and financial strategies, including earnings distribution and stewardship initiatives.
- Provide timely reports and insights on district lending, investment, ministry, and real estate activities, including customer engagement, pipeline development, and strategic initiatives to district and LCEF leadership.
- Represent LCEF as an active participant in district executive teams, boards, planning meetings, retreats, conventions, and other district functions to strengthen organizational relationships and advance ministry objectives.
- Review and administer partnership agreements and reimbursement arrangements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and mutual accountability.
- Collaborate with teams across LCEF to deliver integrated lending, investment, ministry, and real estate solutions that support ministry partner needs and strategic priorities.
- Participate in LCEF meetings, conferences, and organizational initiatives while serving as a trusted ambassador for the mission, values, and strategic priorities of LCEF.
- Travel regularly to support district leadership, ministry partners, and LCEF events, including regional and national travel.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or Finance or related field.
- Five years of progressive responsibility and experience working in a financial institution or financial environment.
- Experience in business development, identifying opportunities and providing solutions.
- A member in good standing of an LCMS congregation with an understanding of, and ability to verbalize, the mission of the church and LCEF.
- Reside within the Greater St. Louis, Missouri area and be located within reasonable proximity and convenient access to St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
- Willingness to travel both regionally and nationally up to 75%, including weekends and evenings. Comfortable travelling by both air and vehicle.
- Ability to provide leadership and guide others, thus instilling confidence and stability in the organization.
- Ability to assess, evaluate, and provide consultative skills in carrying out duties.
- Knowledge of financial principles, including accounting practices, financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements), and key financial ratios relevant to commercial lending.
- Strong self-organization and self-management skills. Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and efficiently with ability to perform under tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to plan, develop and manage an operating budget effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct presentations and facilitate meetings. Ability to provide clear direction and feedback and can communicate effectively with various audiences and all levels of the organization.
- Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Collaborative and team mindset that establishes favorable relationships with both LCEF and District staff.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Salesforce or similar CRM, and collaborative business tools. Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
