IntroductionWe are looking for a
Distribution Manager to join our
Distribution Management Organization. In this role, you will manage relationships with our Metso brand crushing and screening distribution partners in the Northeast USA. The role is focused on growing sales and market share of our capital equipment products while also collaborating with team members to grow sales of related aftermarket products and services. You will report to the
Head of Capital Distribution Sales, USA and Canada. This is a
remote role - the role includes travel averaging 50% annually. (80% travel Northeast USA, occasional travel outside of that location.)
What you'll do- Build long-term collaborative relationships with distributor principals, senior executives, technical personnel, and sales personnel.
- Pursue sales growth of our capital equipment product portfolio through implementation of the Metso Distribution Management Program.
- Utilize jointly developed Business Plans and Activity Plans as primary tools for business discussions and development planning with assigned distributors.
- Monitor and evaluate sales and distribution trends across product lines, conducting market analysis to identify potential opportunities, growth areas, and performance variances.
What you'll bring- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders within Metso, distributor partners, and end-user aggregate customers.
- Strong ability to demonstrate a value-added approach to sales and business development activities.
- Previous experience selling industrial equipment and related services.
- Prior experience with crushing and screening equipment and related services preferred.
