  • Conduct meetings with SDS supervisors to discuss progress and concerns.

  • Pay: $85,000 - $91,000 + 10% annual bonus
  • Paid weekly!

What will you do? Make an impact!

The SDS Production Manager will oversee the technical aspects of the thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still and manage the activities and performance of department personnel.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Foster, uphold, and prioritize a strong culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) throughout the team, ensuring that safety and compliance are integral to all operations.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of SDS personnel
  • Develop and maintain the SDS department schedule across shifts to ensure consistent and adequate coverage.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all operations related to thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still and make adjustments as needed to ensure safe and efficient continued operations.
  • Navigate through all computer operations systems as they pertain to the thermal desorption unit, distillation column and pot still operations and the Inventory System.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound loads.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance department to ensure electrical system equipment and components are operational.
  • Comply with R.C.R.A. and D.O.T. rules and regulations pertaining to plant operations.
  • Maintain all roll off and drum inventory in compliance per Part B Permit.
  • Complete all daily logs on a timely basis.
  • Review operations and make suggestions on improvements.
  • Provide guidance to operational staff.
  • Assist the Senior SDS Manager with end of month processing and production reports.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with SDS Supervisors.
  • Maintain department inventory of tools/supplies on a monthly basis.
  • Effectively manage timecards of direct reports.
  • Perform confined space entry work as needed.
  • Field after hours calls from SDS team for urgent, emergency, or unforeseen situations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Do you have what it takes?

  • High school diploma or GED, 2 year technical degree is desirable.
  • Two to fourTwo to four (2 to 4) years of hazardous waste experience is desirable.
  • Two to four (2 to 4) years of hazardous waste experience is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, compressors, gear boxes and blowers.
  • Working knowledge of confined space entry (CSE).
  • Intermediate understanding of flow diagrams.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Must successfully complete Hazwoper training.
  • Must have an OSHA/Hazwoper physical examination.
  • Must obtain a physician certification to wear a respirator.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office required.
  • Possess or acquire working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for.
  • Ability to work on-site as described in the job description.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
