Dissemination Specialist - Senior Team Lead

Position / LCAT: Dissemination Specialist Level: Senior Lead Designation: Team Lead Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Role Summary

Prepares and processes the movement of appropriately marked intelligence products between security domains. Manages the sending and posting of products to approved individuals, organizations, and sites, including the verification of appropriate clearances and accesses of users. Logs potential inadvertent security incidents and utilizes and maintains site SOPs IAW the appropriate policy and guidance. Ensures the timely, accurate, and complete generation and modification of intelligence product metadata consistent with Government-approved standards.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process the movement of appropriately marked intelligence products between security domains
  • Manage the sending and posting of products to approved individuals, organizations, and sites, including verification of appropriate clearances and accesses of users
  • Log potential inadvertent security incidents and utilize/maintain site SOPs IAW appropriate policy and guidance
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete generation and modification of intelligence product metadata consistent with Government-approved standards
  • Use government-specified tools to generate and modify product metadata (including the Document Dissemination Tool (DDT), CORE tool, DIA Product Control Numbering Database (PCN DB), and MS Office Suite)
  • Perform cross-domain product (associated material) dissemination on approved networks and register product(s) into the approved intelligence repositories
  • Lead a team and manage work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
  • Deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences
  • Draft and maintain documentation such as SOPs and produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts
  • Instruct and interact with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks
Required Qualifications
  • Meets all qualifications and skills of a Senior Dissemination Specialist
  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
  • Demonstrated experience involving complex security classification decisions such as coalition/foreign partner support, foreign disclosure, intelligence dissemination, or cross-domain operations
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional briefings and presentations to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as SOPs and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts
  • Demonstrated understanding of metadata
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct and interact with small groups on data and information requirements and coordination tasks
  • Current DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desired Education: Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Desired Education: Associates degree with 7 years' experience in an intelligence discipline OR High School Diploma with 9 years' experience in an intelligence discipline
