Director, Technology serves as a key Senior Leadership Team member within CPNA, leading technology strategy to support business transformation, data and analytics structure, cybersecurity, and operational technology capabilities that leverage digital innovation to create measurable and sustainable business value for the organization.
THIS ROLE PRIMARILY EXISTS TO:- Lead CPNA technology strategy and roadmap
- Advance data, analytics and AI capabilities
- Ensure business risks are mitigated while current platforms are modernized and technical debt is minimized
- Develop and uplift capability and skills of IT organizational
- Drive a culture of innovation by identifying, incubating, and scaling emerging technologies and digital capabilities that differentiate CPNA and accelerate business value creation.
- Continuously assess and introduce innovative technologies (e.g., AI, automation, advanced analytics) to improve competitive advantage, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.

DIMENSIONS:SCOPE: Leading the Information Technology function supporting two vertically integrated business: Steelscape and ASC Profiles.
BUDGET: $2M-$5M annual operating and project spend.
IMPACT: Direct influence on business transformation and operational performance.
REPORTS: Two managers, 8 business analysts
Matrixed: 20 technology FTEs sit within the business reporting into regional and global leaders, requiring day to day leadership and direction.
OTHER: Requires working with regional and global peers to ensure business service levels and needs are met. .
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required:- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Postgraduate in business or technology desirable.
Experience Required:- Significant experience in leading an IT/OT function and managing in a complex and diverse IT structure, global organization preferred.
- Demonstrated experience transforming business through value creation within technology platforms like ERP, CRM
- Manufacturing acumen with understanding of manufacturing systems like MES, preferred to have experience implementing modern MES platforms
