Full Job Description
The Director, Talent & Workforce Strategy leads CFBNJ's learning and workforce development strategy to strengthen organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, AI adoption, and employee growth. This role partners across the organization to identify capability gaps, develop scalable learning solutions, and build a culture of continuous learning. Responsibilities include overseeing onboarding, leadership and professional development, succession planning, performance management, and career growth programs, while leveraging workforce data and insights to measure impact, drive continuous improvement, and ensure learning initiatives align with organizational goals, workforce needs, and CFBNJ's mission.

What you'll do in your role:
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide learning and development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and lead leadership development, succession planning, career development, and performance management programs.
  • Build AI workforce capability through AI literacy programs, role-based learning pathways, and adoption initiatives.
  • Assess workforce capability gaps and implement scalable learning solutions.
  • Oversee onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing programs.
  • Use workforce data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leaders to align talent and development initiatives with business needs.
  • Lead the Learning & Development function, including team management, budgets, vendors, learning platforms, and external partnerships.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:
  • 10+ years of experience in learning & development, talent development, organizational development, or human resources.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing, programs, teams, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Adult Learning, Education, or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in leadership development, succession planning, organizational learning, and workforce development.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, culture change, or capability-building initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI adoption, digital transformation, automation, chatbots, analytics, or machine learning within HR or business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Skilled in workforce analytics, change management, project management, coaching, and stakeholder influence.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, Microsoft 365, and learning technologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive partnership skills.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $116,250-$193,750. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
