Director, Talent Acquisition

Position Description

You are an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a demonstrated history of being a valued leader and coach to your team who achieves results through flawless execution. You are up for a challenge to build a best-in-class recruitment program and team, and you know what great looks like. You have experience building out a Campus Recruitment program developing a strong social media presence to attract talent. Strong planning and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships will be critical for success in this role.

What You Will Do
  • Provide input to the Vice President from a talent acquisition viewpoint to feed into the overall HR strategic plan and strategy
  • Develop and execute the talent acquisition strategy and the multi-year roadmap to support the continued growth of the company
  • Further develop University and College relationships across Canada to support TTI's campus recruitment needs and make TTI the choice amongst graduates
  • Determine and implement approaches to increase TTI's employment brand and social medica presence to attract top talent
  • Ensure efficiency of recruitment plan and processes to support the anticipated growth within the next couple of years
  • Develop a sourcing strategy approach to reduce time to hire for key positions outside the Campus program
  • Determine the strategy for using external vendors and ensure they are used effectively
  • Build a team that strives for greatness and ensures continuous improvement


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Ten years plus experience in talent acquisition and living the company culture
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Proven ability to create long-term and short-term plans and flawlessly execute
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver's license and clean Drivers Abstract, some travel required
  • Experience with Workday an asset
