This position is a highly visible leadership role responsible for advancing enterprise performance, operational excellence, strategic growth, and financial stewardship across the health system. This position is responsible for providing timely, accurate financial reporting and operational finance support for assigned service lines. This position serves as a strategic advisor to senior executives, physician leaders, and operational teams, leading complex initiatives that improve financial outcomes while supporting Aspirus' mission of delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare throughout Central and Northern Wisconsin. The incumbent brings a blend of healthcare finance leadership, management consulting rigor, operational transformation expertise, and executive influence, with a demonstrated ability to solve system-wide challenges, drive sustainable performance improvement, and lead through change in complex healthcare environments.
Experience/Qualifications- Knowledge of accounting standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related area, required
- MBA, MHA, CPA, CFA, MPH, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
- CPA certification or FHFMA certification beneficial.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare finance, operations, consulting, strategic planning, or performance improvement.
- Significant experience within large health systems, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, national consulting firms, or payer-provider organizations.
- Proven success leading enterprise-wide transformation, operational excellence, and financial improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives, physicians, and senior operational leaders.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
