Full Job Description
As Director of Supply Chain, you'll set and drive the strategy for clinical supply chain operations supporting BBOT's programs. You'll turn pipeline priorities into a clear supply plan, anticipate risks before they hit trial timelines, and keep our global trials supplied on time and in compliance.

This is a hands-on role as much as a strategic one. You will build supply models in Excel and or other systems used by BBOT, support onboarding and continued maintenance of any systems used or maintained by SC, manage inventory and budgets, and own the operational detail end to end, while also setting strategy and surfacing the risks and decisions leadership needs to see.

BBOT runs complex global oncology trials in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment. We want a high-agency contributor who owns problems start to finish and adapts quickly as priorities shift. With several programs nearing key milestones, you'll have a direct hand in BBOT's success and in running global, complex, and high-impact trials that bring new options to cancer patients.

Requirements

Supply chain strategy and planning
• Own the long-range clinical supply strategy across BBOT's oncology programs. Line up sourcing, production, and distribution with where the pipeline is headed, and turn program needs and emerging issues into clear calls for leadership.
• Work with clin ops, regulatory, and manufacturing to keep trial needs and supply timelines in sync
• Spot supply risks early and have a mitigation plan ready before they hit trial timelines
• Source commercial comparators: due diligence, vendor coordination, and staying compliant country to country

Supply modeling, forecasting, and inventory management
• Build and own the Excel supply-and-demand models that drive planning: balancing enrollment, CMC constraints, drug expiry, and country-specific requirements
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses as needed to highlight the impact of each scenario on planning, budget, and resourcing
• Maintain the IRT system for supply configuration and tracking, working closely with Clinical Operations
• Manage inventory, expiry, and batch traceability across sites and depots: ensuring no stockouts, and minimizing avoidable waste

Execution and Systems
• Support the set up and configuration of clinical supply chain systems, including but not limited to IRT user acceptance testing, and release
• Own label creation, prepare clinical supply content for regulatory and submission packages
• Support the supply budget and run procurement for clinical supplies and services

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all clinical supply chain activities meet regulatory requirements and country-specific standards
• Partner with quality on batch release, QP support, deviation management and audit readiness

Vendor and Contract Management:
• Support selection and qualification of third-party suppliers, and negotiate contracts that hold vendors to agreed performance metrics and timelines
• Manage relationships with manufacturers, packaging providers, and logistics companies to ensure timely, compliant delivery of clinical trial materials

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 10 years in clinical supply chain in pharma or biotech, with at least 5 years in a lead role. Small/medium-sized biotech experience strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial operations, cGMP/GDP regulations, and global clinical supply chain best practices

Skills:
• Advanced Excel and supply modeling. Able to forecast and manage supply, inventory, and risk across multiple global oncology trials.
• Strong execution. Comfortable owning the operational detail end to end, not directing others to do it.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, with a proven ability to set direction and make sound decisions under uncertainty.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment and adapts quickly as priorities change.

Additional Information:
• Occasional travel may be required, both domestic and international
• Work Environment: Remote
