Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand Armanino9s M&A Strategy, Integration & Transformation capabilities, advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate acquirers on mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and carve-outs.

  • Devote at least 50% of time to market-facing and business development activities, including relationship development, opportunity identification, pursuit strategy, proposal development, and closing new work.

  • Design and lead Integration Management Offices, including governance, workstream structure, decision rights, integrated plans, dependencies, risks, issues, executive reporting, Day 1 readiness, first-100-day execution, and accelerated value creation plans.

  • Direct synergy and value-capture programs and guide carve-out and separation programs, including transition service agreement governance, standalone readiness, exit plans, and operational stabilization.

  • Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams across Strategy & Transformation, CFO Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Finance and Accounting, Human Capital, Technology, Data, Tax, and other value-creation capabilities.

  • Serve as the senior relationship owner and trusted advisor to deal sponsors, CEOs, CFOs, operating partners, and integration leaders while overseeing engagement quality, economics, staffing, risk management, and measurable outcomes.

  • Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing team; develop future engagement leaders; and strengthen the practice9s methods, tools, playbooks, quality standards, and reusable intellectual property.

Requirements

  • Bachelor9s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, with significant leadership responsibility in management consulting, private equity operations, corporate development, enterprise transformation, or a comparable environment.

  • Deep experience leading merger integrations, carve-outs, or complex transaction programs, including direct responsibility for an Integration Management Office or enterprise-level integration governance.

  • Demonstrated track record of originating, selling, and expanding complex consulting engagements and building executive-level client relationships.

  • Ability to travel based on client and business development needs.

  • Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.

  • Strong operational orientation and working knowledge of multiple business functions, with the ability to connect operational actions to the deal thesis, financial outcomes, and enterprise value.

  • Experience mobilizing and leading multidisciplinary teams spanning operational transformation, finance, transaction advisory, technology, human capital, and other specialist capabilities.

  • Strong commercial judgment, including scoping, pricing, contracting, engagement economics, delivery risk, and account expansion.

  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $183,800 - $250,500. For Illinois residents and New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $202,300 - $275,600. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
