Core Responsibilities

Team & Client Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop Associate Directors, cultivating a high-performing and collaborative strategy team.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
- Elevate the role of strategy within client businesses through measurable initiatives including test and learn programs, thought leadership, and new partner recommendations.
- Collaborate with audience, planning, and activation teams to ensure strategic direction is consistently applied across recommendations and campaigns.

Strategic Development & Delivery
- Lead the development of strategic statements, platform frameworks, and communication architectures for your accounts and briefs.
- Manage quality control and maintain excellence in strategic perspective and output.
- Write and oversee creation of narrative content for strategic recommendations incorporated into client presentations.
- Deliver timely, relevant, and actionable strategic recommendations aligned with campaign lifecycles.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes, synthesizing insights to shape client strategies.
- Leverage proprietary and cultural intelligence tools to develop clear, concise, and impactful strategic recommendations.

Cross-functional Engagement & Influence
- Act as the main liaison for Audience, Planning, Investment, and Marketing Science teams on client accounts.
- Socialize and share key insights, findings, and overarching strategy internally to ensure strategy integrity throughout planning and activation.
- Consult with Audience teams on growth sources, custom audience models, and psychographic, transactional, and behavioral insights to refine personas.

Omni & OMG Advocacy
- Champion Omni platform adoption internally by driving increased usage and educating teams to elevate strategic outputs.
- Articulate the role and value of Omni and OMG capabilities clearly to clients, making compelling business cases for their application.
- Generate and lead award entry submissions for client and agency achievements, supporting visibility and recognition.
- Participate actively in new business pitches (at least one per year), contributing strategic expertise across research, platform development, and presentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Demonstrated track record of effective communication and consultation with senior clients around business challenges and strategic opportunity.
- Proven ability to elevate strategic role with clients through impactful initiatives and partnership.
- Successful collaboration with audience and activation teams to embed strategy across campaign deliverables.
- Delivery of strategic narratives and decks that clearly inform client recommendations.

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
